The Secret Project REVEALED: Twilight Concept Wedding Shoot!

The Concept:

Due to a slight obsession, {Unique Designs} wanted to create a Twilight wedding invitation, an idea which blossomed into a full concept design and shoot. The intent was not to replicate Bella & Edward’s wedding, which was actually an Anne of Green Gables dress and was filled with white flowers, but to make another wedding style based on the mood and concept of Twilight. To acknowledge Edward’s personality, we chose a dramatic look with bold flowers, strong reds, and splashes of black feathers. To incorporate Bella, we wanted to take a vintage twist which can be seen in the creams, vintage brooches, and antique lace.

I have to take a moment here to recognize the extreme amount of work that Susan from The Event Divas put into this! She came out and hung a chandelier in a tree, set up a generator, added some red lights, got the tablescape together, made the flowers… I was so so impressed!

Jen and Dave– After Session!

So I haven’t even Previewed their wedding day, but these images are SO HOT that I couldn’t resist editing a few favorites! The morning after their wedding, before they went to their cruise, this amazing couple got up at 8:00 in the morning to have time to get some awesome images with more of a modern-grunge look than we were able to do on their wedding day. I promise I’ll be working hard to get a wedding day preview up within the next day or two… but you have to take a look at THESE first!

And so you don’t get the wrong idea that they are always poised as perfectly sexy and serious– here are some gorgeous, natural smiles

Old Woolen Mill Bridal Shoot (v.2.0!)

In between the two weddings that I travelled back to Tennessee for, I had the opportunity to do another Bridal Fashion shoot for Becca at the Old Woolen Mill. The wonderful Melody of Innamorata Photography also joined us, and you can check out some of her shots on her blog here.

Much of my time was spent with Leilani again, who you may recall from the last Bridal Shoot at the Mill (Middle on the photo below). Becca’s friend Kara (left), with her gorgeous golden curls, also modeled for us, and another friend Lydia (right) was able to spend a little time with us as well.
