New gear is always exciting, and I recently got in quite a few things that I expect to have a major impact on my work. The one I am highlighting here is my Nikon 105mm 2.8 Macro lens.  I will be using this extra-sharp lens for portraits, some telephoto, and macro work (including rings). Here are some of the first photos I got playing with it!
