Isabel and Nathanael

February 27, 2008

I somehow keep ending up with the best clients ever (how does a girl get so lucky?).  This is Isabel and Nathaniel’s awesome engagement session.  Their wedding is quickly approaching in March, and as you can see, they are so happy and in love– they have that look in their eyes that every couple should have when they look at each other!A lot of the style here is a bit different from most of what is on my website, as they gave me free reign to give them a very edgey, contemporary, textured, and bold look.  If this is the type of look you love, I definitely enjoy it– although I wouldn’t suggest it on every image, as you want to keep some of it classic and timeless since you will be enjoying these images for the rest of your life and your tastes might change (and because an entire wedding done this way would probably take 3 years to meticulously edit!).  Enjoy!

Natasha and Jonathan

February 9, 2008

Last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting Natasha and Jonathan’s wedding. It was an absolute blast; Natasha was such a calm, happy (and gorgeous!) bride, even when things were not going perfectly as planned! They got married in UTC’s Patten Chapel, then went over to the Chattanooga Choo Choo for a great reception. Enjoy this little preview of some of my initial favorites!

I also was very lucky to have the wonderful Melody Hood second shooting for me, rather than me for her! She has absolutely amazing work, and here are just a few:

It was also my husband’s first time getting to shoot at one of our weddings, and here are a couple that he captured:

Thank you so much, Natasha and Jonathan, for letting us all be a part of your day!

I recently did a photo session for the Bald Headed Bistro, a fine dining restaurant in Cleveland, TN. The private dining manager, Adam Lewis, wants to do more weddings, so I and two of the waitresses (Becca and Kristy) spent a Saturday morning/afternoon making some amazing promotional images. Enjoy!
