QUICKFIRE Canvas Sale!

September 16, 2009

My canvas company is having a QUICKFIRE sale, and so I am too in order to pass on the savings!

You have until FRIDAY to order.  You do not have to decide on the image you want, but just let me know so I can reserve it with their system.

So, first up are 16×24″ canvases, normally $250, for $185!

This size is what I have up in a set of three in my studio space that looks AMAZING up together.

They are also closing their special limited edition Jessica Dittmer HERO canvas to celebrate the Hero in your life *also until Friday*.  To celebrate the end of the design, they are finishing off with selling them INSANELY cheap.  This is a 12×12″ canvas with a 5×7″ photo of your Hero in the middle (father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, or even your husband or wife).  These are  just $45.

Because of the small size of the image for the HERO canvas, I can also do this with an image that you have taken if I haven’t gotten one of your Hero yet.  :)

Anyone interested just email me and I’ll send you a special products PayPal invoice so we can get it ordered by Friday!

Oh yeah, that includes free shipping.  ;)

Becky & Austin: Part III

September 16, 2009

Being a Florida photographer (or bride and groom), it is sometimes necessary to make accommodations.  In Becky and Austin’s case we had to sneak in photos throughout the day depending on how well we could handle the ridiculously hot and humid weather!  Luckily they gave us some time at the end when the light was perfect to play outside.  So here are some of the creative portraits from throughout the day!

Becky & Austin: Part II

September 16, 2009

It’s been about for-ever since I posted Part I but as I said… I’ve been a bad blogger!  These have all been on Facebook for a while so just remember to pop over and be a fan if you are the type of person that HAS to have the updates first.  :)

SOOO to continue the preview of Becky and Austin’s wedding on the blog, here we go (be sure to scroll down a few posts to see Part I if you haven’t).

The Ceremony was held at their church, The Family Church, way on the west side of town.

Rebecca’s uncle, Dwight, who fights against ALS (see Dwight’s Fight if you want to contribute to the organization) spoke during the Ceremony, evoking tears from just about everyone there.

And now, on to the Reception!  I’ll share some portraits in Part III coming after this post!  :)

Many of you probably remember the ADORABLE post earlier about their photobooth with them chomping on some BBQ chicken.  So of course I had to get some details of the delicious Hill’s BBQ catered wedding!  I love it when couples do what THEY want and like instead of what people expect for weddings!

Speaking of, check out the Groom’s Cake (Austin works in construction):

They did also have a gorgeous normal wedding cake… straight out of the amazing Real Simple Weddings magazine.

I’ve got the rest of Shannon & Tim’s e-session preview ready… and their images are going to be uploading soon!  Their wedding is coming up in less than two weeks at the Sweetwater Inn and I am SO excited for it!

We of course HAD to start at the stadium for them.  These seats have been in Tim’s family for something like 30 years!

Next we headed to Kanapaha Botanical Gardens for some warm and sweet images.  I just LOVED the lighting we planned to get (and was spot on) paired with their adorable interactions.

First of all, I have been a BAD blogger!  I am behind!  I’m going to be catching up so keep an eye out this week!  :)

Now, for some images from the wedding expo hosted by Solution’s Bridal this weekend!

Here is my booth:

Pure-1

On the left is my feature sample album with a small highlight album and my new gorgeous cards.

On the right was the station where my recent bride Rebecca helped me!  I had a frame going with some of the images from her wedding and a Guest Book I made out of the recent images (two posts down) of guests holding signs with  messages.  The Guest Book was a HUGE hit!  I’m going to be ordering a copy to keep in my studio as well for people and making an offering for someone to man the photo booth + get a Guest Book since tons of brides were interested in that for their wedding.

Not in the picture is the new 16-pg booklet I got that is similar to my online info booklet that was my handout.  If you want a print copy let me know your address and I will mail you one!

Rebecca was also TONS of help to brides as she just did her entire wedding on an awesome budget- I was over 30% of her budget!  She loves talking with brides and is actually a stay-at-home wife now working with her Thirty One business (custom bags) and some other fun projects so feel free to click here and chat her up on Facebook!

I thought it would be fun to finish up this post with some of my favorite quotes from the day!  Yep, little tidbits of hilarious exchanges from the bridal expo!

*The first bride to approach me pointed and said “You!  I came here for you!” and I felt very warm and fuzzy inside.

*Another bride soon after approached quickly saying, “I hate you!” I laughed and asked why and she said I was booked on her date.  Oops!

*One mother of a bride, after talking with Rebecca while I was talking with someone else, turned to me and said: “Well apparently you can walk on water!”
