I was able to shoot a wedding with the awesome Mike Richards and his wife yesterday. Their couple was absolutely fantastic and I may post some more images when I get caught up on editing my own, but I just got a new tilt-shift lens PLUS they had the first dove release I’ve ever been able to photograph and… WOW. I’m just in love with these!

I always feel blessed by the incredible clients I have but this last week really brought it home to me when I received some marvelous little gifts. :)
I mentioned this on Twitter and Facebook but now I wanted to get a great image of the unique gift that Chan & Tim got me after their wedding. I love how it is not only a vintage camera locket, but also has a bird (re: my logo) on the chain. So thoughtful! It was, of course, an Etsy purchase.
Then Amanda, from SWOONOVERIT calligraphy, came by to show me my nearly final draft of a map she is working on for me (they are incredible, for the record) and brought me a surprise gift… a pillow with my bird on it! Oh my GOSH I can still barely believe the effort she put into that!
And since my cat was around I decided she should definitely star in a few of the pillow images. ;)
Solution’s Bridal invited me to take a few images last Saturday of their Lori London accessories trunk show. I thought for only a millisecond as hanging out with the awesome girls at Solution’s is always a fun experience. They had an inspiring collection of Lori London accessories, all on sale during the show. Definitely keep an eye on their page for upcoming shows where you can get some great specials! I was also able to capture a few images of new brides as they tried on potential dresses during the day at Solution’s. Enjoy!
Deborah from Creekside Clippers was also there helping brides try different hairstyles with the accessories on so they could fully envision themselves in their gorgeous dresses on their wedding day. What a great idea!
I know this is slightly out of character for a wedding photographer’s blog, but I just had to share! During the UF game Saturday, a friend brought over a 4 or 5 day old kitten she was taking care of. It’s eyes and ears are still closed (great benefit to the kitten since (s)he slept through all the screaming during that tense game)! Of course I had to grab a few images.
